    We are looking for a

    SPECIALIST, PEOPLE ANALYTICS

    to be responsible for the development of Workday reporting and analytics and to support in our transformation towards data-driven HR organization. You will be part of our global HR Data and Analytics team based in Espoo, Finland and reporting to Manager, People Analytics. You'll have strong support and the opportunity to learn, develop and grow.

    What's your role in the future Metsä?

    The focus of the role will be on developing Workday reporting, building and delivering reports, KPIs and analyses for business needs. You will get to collaborate with your colleagues in Workday team, HR network and many other stakeholders. You will also be responsible for implementing new functionalities in Workday and providing guidance and training on reports. Your will get involved in various HR development projects. Metsä Group has started the journey towards data-driven HR organization and you will be part our new analytics tool implementation project. You will also support the HR Controller and contribute to various reporting needs.

    Main responsibilities

  • Develop reports, KPIs and HR process analytics in Workday
  • Support reporting and analytics development in Microsoft Power BI
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Support and train the HR community to increase its capability in people analytics
  • Support data quality and data governance

    Whether you are an experienced HR or Workday reporting expert or a recent graduate, we will adjust the level of your role to your background. We will train you and support your growth.

    What kind of skills are we looking for?

    Previous work experience in Workday, HR or financial reporting or handling large data sets is beneficial, but the most important thing is that you have a passion and willingness to learn and that you enjoy working with information systems. Previous HR experience would be an advantage.

    Accuracy, analytical skills and logical thinking will help you to succeed in the role. You are passionate about problem solving and persistent in finding solutions to challenges. We expect you to have experience or interest in working as an independent expert and enthusiasm for HR reporting and data analytics. You need fluent written and spoken English, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is useful.
