The Eaton Summer Intern campaign has kicked off and we are once again excited to welcome new colleagues Are you looking to work for a global company that values ethics inclusion diversity and its people We'd love to hear from you We offer an exciting internship with comprehensive onboarding in an inclusive and diverse organization Join Eaton as a Plant Quality Intern and embark on a journey to make a real impact This internship will begin in April–May 2026 At Eaton we are committed to Lead Invest and Execute for Growth As one of the world's largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies UPS Eaton's expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity What You'll Do Your main responsibility as SCM Planner Intern is to back up the Operational Buyers during the holiday time period The position requires to ensure timely material purchasing call-offs coverting requisitions into purchase orders monitoring supplier confirmations following shipment schedules custom clearance duties And also respond to Material shortage queries from shop-floor escalate shortages as required providing forecasts suppliers General Responsibilities Acting ethically according Eaton values philosophy following company rules policies Showing active interest developing own work skills competencies Committing delivering high quality all circumstances Taking responsibility safety everyone working company reports identified safety concerns Contributing creating maintaining good working relations team departments locations Other Responsibilities Releasing purchase orders ERP MRP requirements ensuring purchasing cycle complete until goods received Maintaining updating material MRP data ERP instructions Eaton processes lead times safety stock re-order points Lot sizes ensure optimized material availability Identifying current potential material shortages collaborating Master Planner Procurement team avoid delays Production schedules eventually mitigating Sales risks Proactively escalating reacting quickly material shortages suppliers support procurement team closely Production Line Managers Production Planners daily basis supporting managing production schedules Collaborating Project engineering team special requirements customer specific projects critical customers Supporting inventory checks validate inventory accuracy coordinating material flow production Warehouse team Checking approving freight supplier related invoices Taking part supplier meetings cooperation procurement team feedback SCM team At Eaton our mission enhance quality life environment power management technologies services We value fresh perspectives knowledge interns bring many interns have opportunity continue beyond internship We support flexible balance work studies each year many students complete thesis us Skills SAP knowledge Excel skills Motivated team player good communication skills collaborative Are you interested Kindly submit application CV via Eaton Jobs recruitment portal.Työpaikan kuvaus
