    About the Job

    The successfull candidate will supervise and manage sales staff, mainly Territory Managers Implants in the region through provision of mentoring, effective training, evaluation, motivation, delegation and monitoring of their activities. The head of Sales Implants in Finland will lead a team of Territory Managers Implants to achieve sales, activity, and expenditure targets, meanwhile collaborating and support with Head of CC regarding front office functions enabling to reach targets.

    Main tasks and responsibilities:

    • Ensure the sales team operates within the parameters of Straumann's Culture and business practice as directed by the Straumann Head Office and the Nordic Hub.
    • Develop and manage as well as monitor annual Sales budget for the region and manage expenses to maximize return on investment.
    • Responsible for conducting talk forward process, salary review 's together with other Nordic leaders within the matrix for Finland in general.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to actively promote Straumann solutions/ products.
    • Ensure that sales force is thoroughly trained and highly motivated on products & sales techniques.
    • Actively take part of the sales process including visiting customers and prospects
    • Nordic KPI; co-travel and coach Territorial Managers in the field to a minimum of %.
    • Manage and coach the Territory Managers to achieve sales targets within each region.
    • Establish a climate that encourages the development of the Territory Managers within the organization.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to actively promote Straumann solutions /products (KOL; Key accounts)
    • Maintain regular liaison with Head Office and the Nordic Hub to ensure corporate sales processes, legislative requirements and ethical standards are met and maintained
    • Assist in the design, recommendation and implementation of sales and marketing programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies and objectives
    • Provides market information to Marketing Manager and the Lead Team
    • Travel as required within Finland and the Nordic Hub as well as other potential locations in accordance with the Nordic Travel Guidance
    • Participate in National, International trade shows, sales meetings, and attend other meetings as directed by the Head of Sales, Nordics
    • Develop, manage and monitor on a weekly, monthly base annual Sales budget for the country and manage expenses to maximize return on investment
    • Continuing follow ups due to Talk forward process and KPI
    • Establish targets for Sales Force productivity and effectiveness and efficiency

    About the ideal candidate

    • Educated to degree level, the successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of professional experience, with a progressive track-record
    • A (Life Sciences) industry background would be an asset
    • Experienced and good in people management due to the company's guidance and cultural
    • Experience from working as a Sales manager for a minimum of 3-4 years.
    • Having the ability to manage change both in terms of human perspective, strategies, and other processes.
    • Experience from the dental area is strong advantage such as dental hygienist or nurse and /or dental technician background.
    • Experience from working in the field as sales force or sales manager.
    • Experience and comfort in working within a fast-paced, international business environment is required with focus on Finland as well as Nordic Hub.
    • Experience in establishing and ignite a successful overall team spirit
    • Fluency in local language and in English is a must.
    • Flexibility in mindset of both acquiring new customers and maintaining and deepening of existing customer relationships.
    • Proven to be a good leader in showing example for the team.
    • Respectful in relation to people management as well as towards customers
    • Be able to drive change management in line with the strategy in the Nordic Hub
