Job Description.
The Commissioning Manager shall be responsible for leading and managing the commissioning process of a project to ensure that all systems, equipment, and facilities are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the project requirements and client specifications. The role involves developing commissioning plans and procedures, coordinating with engineering, construction, and operations teams, overseeing system inspections and functional testing, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Commissioning Manager also manages documentation, schedules, and resources related to commissioning activities, identifies and resolves technical issues, and ensures a smooth handover of fully operational systems to the client or operations team.

Skills & Experience Required.

Minimum ten (10) years of construction related experience.
Minimum five (5) years direct experience as a trade lead (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) and / or commissioning MEP Equipment in a hyperscale Data Centre.
Experience managing end-to-end commissioning for a minimum of three (3) mission critical projects.
Experience with construction scheduling, cost and resource management.
A Professional Qualification in Mechanical Engineering desirable.
